ALTENEW AECP: BEYOND BASIC BACKGROUND

Pa smo že v drugem delu programa. Prva voščilnica je nastala na temo Beyond basic background. Lydia nam je tokrat pokazala par zanimivih idej. Poskusila sem jih kar nekaj. Nekatere uspešno druge manj. Izbrala pa tisto, ki mi je bila najbolj všeč.

In-laid tehnika mi je na koncu uspela najlepše. Pa poglejmo kako sem pripravila voščilnico. Najprej sem si pripravila kartonček in ga pobarvala s štirimi barvami; od najtemnejše do najsvetleše. Tako pobarvan kartonček sem še malo poškropila z vodo. Ko se je kartonček dobro posušil sem ga izrezala z rezalno šablono Striped leaf. Enkrat sem kartonček izrezala še iz črnega kartona. Vsak košček sem nato vstavila nazaj v izrez. Dodala sem še bleščeč napis in par kristalčkov in tako zaključila voščilnico.

 

We are already in the second part of the program. The first card was created on the theme Beyond basic background. Lydia showed us a couple of interesting ideas this time. I tried quite a few. Some successfully others less. But I chose the one I liked the most.

The in-laid technique worked best for me in the end. Let's see how I prepared the card. First, I prepared a card panel and painted it with four colors; from darkest to lightest. I sprayed the colored card with a little more water. When the cardboard had dried well, I cut it out with a Striped leaf cutting die. I once cut a card panel out of black cardboard. I then inserted each piece back into the cutout. I added a glittering sentiment and a couple of crystals to complete the card.
